Modern era is a time of rapid development of science and technology, uncontrolled growth of the Earth’s population, the gradual degradation of the natural environment under the influence of negative anthropogenic factors.
In addition, the problem of the relationship between society and nature, man and the environment has become acute. Consumer culture of the population has led to excessive use of natural resources, reduction of natural diversity, environmental pollution. These factors, in turn, have contributed to the long-standing ecological imbalances that have led to an environmental crisis that is dangerous to humans and the environment.
The EcoChange.UA project is created to pay the attention of adults and children to the ecological condition of the area and Ukraine in general.
During the period of work on the project together with our partner Oleksandr Fil we managed to carry out activities with students in Ternopil School №10 and Ternopil School-Collegium named after Patriarch Yosyp Slipyy.
Together with volunteers who are the student of Ternopil National Pedagogical University, ecological literacy lessons were organized and schoolchildren and volunteers visited the Ternopil Regional Center for Ecological and Naturalistic Creativity of Student Youth and Petryky Forestry.
